I am APICS (Association of Professional Independent Chimney Sweeps) trained and have experience with open fires, inglenooks, fuel and wood burning stoves, pellet burners, ranges and AGAs.

Tailored equipment

I use a combination of traditional and power sweeping rods and brushes to ensure your chimney or flue gets the correct service and a thorough sweep.

Safe and fully insured

I am DBS checked and have public liability insurance. I provide a certificate of inspection for evidence of my chimney sweep and any safety recommendations or advice required.

Clean and efficient

I take pride in cleanliness and use an industrial HEPA chimney sweep vacuum cleaner and dust control technology to keep dust and soot to a minimum.

Fair prices and free quotes

I believe in fair pricing and free written quotations for chimney sweeping, birds nest removal and other chimney services upon request. I accept cash, BACS, website payment or card (via a card reader).

Any chimney CCTV inspection, birds nest removal or chimney sweep in Chapel-en-le-frith or other service areas is £75

Open fire, log burner, range, AGA, Rayburn or inglenook, bungalow, cottage, farm or town house, where ever you are in my service area: they are all the same price.

A sweep usually takes up to 1 hour and includes a certificate, a smoke test and advice when needed.

Ladder fee

£75

My set fee for any standard extension ladder work is £75, you may require the following add ons:

Ladder for stack £25
Cowl fitting or removal £20
Cowl replacement £30
Price of cowl (approx £30 to £60)

Birds nest

removal £75

I don't charge by the hour: they are all the same price.

It is difficult to estimate how long it will take to remove a birds nest due to differences in their size, age, the condition of the chimney and how things go on the day.

CCTV inspection £75

A flue or chimney CCTV inspection may be required if a fault or unidentified blockage is suspected or to check the internal condition of a chimney or flue.

A CCTV inspection takes around 1 hour and includes analysis of the footage, which can be sent to you if required.
